How long will it take to clean my home?
We take our time. Our number one concern is that we do the very best job possible.We estimate about 1 hour for every 300 square feet of cleaning.
Will you give me the cheapest bid in town?
Probably not. If you want your carpet to look good and give you years of dependable service, then you need to take extra good care of it. This means you need to have it cleaned by a skilled, qualified technician. If you are looking for a cheap, rinse-the-dirt-off-the-top cleaning, then I respectfully ask you to call another company. What is a FREE Carpet Audit?
We will come out to your home and provide you with information about your carpet and answer any questions you have – without cost or obligation of any kind. At that time, we will also provide you with an exact quote for cleaning the carpet and/or upholstery in your home. By doing this there will be no surprises when we come out to your home to clean it.
What can I do about pet stains/odor?
To prevent permanent staining, clean urine spots immediately by blotting with a white terry cloth towel, or plain white paper towels, until no moisture is transferred. To clean the urine spot, mix 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water, and clean with a white terry cloth. Once you have “flushed” as much of the urine out as possible, blot with dry cloths until dry to the touch. Don’t ever use over-the-counter spot removers or all purpose cleaners on urine. This can set the spot permanently. If you have trouble removing the spot, do not hesitate to give us a call.
What do we do if we experience flooding?
Contact your insurance company to determine if the damage is covered.
Take pictures of the water damage.
Move all photos, paintings, and art objects to a safe, dry location.
Remove and prop up wet upholstery and cushions.
Remove rugs from wet floors.
Gather loose items from the floor.
Stay out of rooms where ceilings are sagging.
Things not to do:
Do not enter any area with standing water.
Do not vacuum anything.
Do not walk on wet surfaces if possible.
Do not leave books, magazines, or other colored items on wet carpet or floors.
Do not turn on ceiling fixtures if ceiling is wet.
Any water damaged or flooded area requires immediate professional attention in order to prevent serious and dangerous structural damage. It is important to remove standing water immediately, and to take fast action any time your home or business has substantial flooding or water damage. Water removal and clean up can be quickly done and cost associated relatively low as compared to the cost of mold remediation if it is not taken care of properly. After you clean my carpets, how soon can we walk on them?
Carpet drying times can vary widely due to the density of your carpet, the humidity, and the degree of soil that was on your carpets. To speed up drying, ventilate the area as much as outside weather allows, and increase air circulation by turning on fans. Carpet drying time may vary from only 2 hours (under ideal conditions) to as long as 24 hours.
If stain protection was applied, drying time may be longer. Allow 24 hours before carpet use.
Do you charge for areas where furniture is not moved?
No – we will only charge you for the areas that we clean. For example, if you prefer that we do not move your couch, we will not include that area in our measurement.
Do you move furniture?
Yes – we will move most furniture. However, to protect your things, we do not move breakables, electronics, hutches, desks or anything that may break or cause us to break something else if moved.
